Baby Shower Gifts Online: The Easy Way To Get A Baby Gift
Have you ever shopped for baby gifts online? I?ve lived away from home for about three years now. And while I enjoy being away sometimes, there are certainly other times when I wish I was back there. One of those times when I?m homesick has been when friends of mine have gotten married or had babies. It would be nice to be able to be at every shower in person, but that?s not always possible. Thank goodness for the internet! I have gotten really good at shopping for baby gifts online.
So for the latest shower, I needed to shop for gifts for twins! That?s right; my friend is having twin boys. Bless her! And for every shower, I like to send a practical gift and a fun gift. The first thing I did was to check her online registry. My spending limit for one baby is usually around $50, so for this friend I was looking at $100. I knew a practical gift would be bottles. Even if a mother is nursing, she will always end up needing bottles. I found she had registered for Playtex VentAire bottles. I searched online to find a great starter set for newborns and ordered one.
Another practical gift would definitely be diapers. I know other friends of mine have talked about how quickly they have gone through diapers with one baby, and this friend is having two! She had not registered for diapers, so I did some research of my own and asked other parents which diapers they would recommend. A lot of people recommended Pampers, so I found a 240 count box of Pampers online and ordered it. It was a little more than I had planned on spending on diapers, but I figured it was worth it. Who knew shopping for baby gifts online could be so easy?
And then it was time for the fun part: clothes and toys! I found a set of blue onesies for twin boys that said, ?He did it!? and had arrows pointing to each other. I couldn?t resist the humor, so I ordered those. And my final purchase was something I always like to send to friends having their first baby, or babies: Wubbanubs. I knew she was decorating her nursery in jungle animals, so I ordered a lion Wubbanub and an elephant Wubbanub. I know her boys will love them!
Shopping for baby gifts online is actually a really easy process. So, the next time you have a friend in another city or state who is having a shower and you can?t be there in person, just remember to order your gifts online. It makes shopping fun and convenient, and it enables you to still have a presence at the shower!
