Is Pre-Paid Legal a Scam? | JenniferProvencio.com

The first is the service that is offered and the second is the network marketing opportunity. In this article, we are going to briefly review both of these.

At Pre-Paid Legal they will sell you a legal plan and identity theft protection plan. Now, really smart people get that in the world we live in today, having a good legal plan and an identity theft protection plan are very important. The big question for these smart people would be ?Is Pre-Paid Legal a scam or are their services the best for me??

I have personally interviewed members of Pre-Paid Legal. To date, I have never interviewed a member who was not satisfied. One gentleman that I talked to said that Pre-Paid Legal had saved him hundreds of dollars on his auto insurance. He did a lot of driving for a living and as a result of his heavy foot he had received many tickets. With the help of Pre-Paid Legal he was able to get lower points on this insurance for those tickets and in some cases actually got the tickets dismissed.

One lady I talked to had issues with her pool service not coming when they said they would. She became frustrated and in frustration called and talked to the owner of the business who told her that they were too busy and if they missed a week that was just too bad even though she was paying her monthly fees. So, she called her law firm that had been assigned to her from Pre-Paid Legal. Her attorney sent the pool service owner a letter. She received a phone call immediately from the owner of the pool service telling her that they would be out that afternoon. Since then, she has had the cleanest sparkling pool.

Overall, the members said that they now have someone to protect their rights which was worth the $17.95 per month.

Their Identity Theft Protection service seems to be top rate. There are not too many companies that monitor all five areas which include social security, criminal, drivers license, financial and medical. Most people pay some type of monthly fee through a credit card company and end up paying anywhere from $6-10 per month. At Pre-Paid Legal, their Identity Protection Plan is a mere $9.95 when you have a legal plan or $12.95 as a stand-alone plan.

Now for the second part of this evaluation we are going to look at the Pre-Paid Legal opportunity.

Pre-Paid Legal is a network marketing company. The company has been around for almost 40 years. The company has been featured in Fortune and Forbes magazines and basically has no competition in this arena. The associates in this company get paid amazing commissions. On an Expanded Family Legal Plan with Identity Theft Protection ($35.95 to the customer), the associate is paid $103! This is just the first level, as the associates move up in the ranks, they make a lot more. In fact, this plan tops out at $221.

I do not believe that any part of Pre-Paid Legal is a scam. It is a legitimate home-based opportunity. Of course, if you are considering joining this company or any other Network Marketing company, the important thing to do is learn how to generate leads. The company will tell you to work your warm market. However, once you have exhausted that list, what are you going to do? Start your network marketing career off right and learn how to market it correctly.
